So, according to my mefeedia RSS feeds I have 11 more subscribers than I thought I would for my vlog. This is all about process for me. Learning by doing. Also I've uploaded 40 videos since 2003, 22 originals and remixes I've done ones since 2005Jan01. Before that I had 3 videos I had made and uploaded.

If I plan it right I could make one of my movies this way. Break down each unit into its own 1 minute beggining middle end, but have the whole be more than the parts. If you've watched my stuff you know it's all over the place. Some informational, some diary entries, some remixes, some experimentation.

What really got me started on the possibilities of this medium was seeing "Shoegasm" by Ryanne Hodson and "Vloggercon" from 2005Jan in the Open SOurce media section at www.archive.org. "Vloggercon" helped me understand some of the technical stuff better. Later, Freevlog.org made it easy, and Ourmedia and the Internet Archive backended the whole process.

"Shoegasm" I loved because it had such a personality shining through just in the way it was edited. Also becaue I knew I'd never see it on a TV sitcom or Drama, a morning talk show or the news or, anwyhere on TV (at that time-Rocketboom's available on TIVO now) because it was such a small tiny insignificant part of just one person' life who didn't care about market share or the size of her audience. Just that she knew she had one.

I didn't even know if I had an audience besides my own learning curve with these short little videos.
I've got 11 more eyeballs watching my stuff. Hope that if they don't enjoy them, they at least learn something (how to do something or how NOT to do something).
